The two-volume Encyclopedia of the Azerbaijan People's Republic contains the most important moments in the history of the independence struggle and public opinion of the Azerbaijan people, the life and activities of prominent representatives of the freedom movement, the historical circumstances that gave rise to the Azerbaijan People's Republic, the life and struggle of the people of the Republic, mass genocides against the people of Azerbaijan, The rescue operations of the Caucasian Islamic Army, the usurpation plans of major powers and neighboring countries regarding Azerbaijan, the activities of the Parliament and Government of the Republic, state building, foreign policy, army building and the struggle for the country's territorial integrity, social-political, socio-economic, cultural-educational life, activities of Azerbaijani diplomatic missions in foreign countries, as well as the national movement that kept alive the ideals of independence after the fall of the Republic, political emigration, etc. Up to 1,500 term-articles are given that illuminate the issues. The encyclopedia contains numerous color maps, in-text black-and-white and color pictures, maps, tables, diagrams, portraits, military operation plans and other illustrative materials reflecting the administrative-territorial division of the period of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic. Many of them appear for the first time in the Encyclopedia of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic.
