Published in Baku in 2013, this documentary collection presents archival records and testimonies on the events affecting the Muslim/Azerbaijani population of the Shamakhi district between March and July 1918; volume two is devoted specifically to the villages of the uezd. The compilation itself characterises these events as "Azerbaijani pogroms." For this collection its value lies in documenting the regional violence immediately preceding and coinciding with the Caucasus Islamic Army's June–July 1918 advance along the Göyçay–Shamakhi axis.
