Published in 1936 as the history section of Askerî Mecmua, this work by Süleyman İzzet (Yeğen), commander of the 15th Infantry Division, narrates in the commander's own words the division's role in the Battle of Baku after it was sent to Azerbaijan following the failure of the First Baku Offensive in August 1918, and the subsequent Dagestan campaign towards Derbent and Petrovsk.
