Published in Baku by Elm və təhsil in 2011, this book examines the March 1918 events—termed by the author the "31 March genocide"—through reports and commentary in the press of 1918-1920. It draws on periodicals of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic years as primary sources. For the collection, it illuminates the political and social climate and press perceptions that preceded the Army of Islam's summer 1918 campaign.
