Topchubashov, head of the Azerbaijani delegation, to the chairman of the Paris Peace Conference requesting recognition of Azerbaijan's independence. While not directly about the Army of Islam's campaign, it documents the diplomatic aftermath of the 1918 republic whose capital was secured in September 1918.
