Zekeriya Türkmen's Turkish Historical Society monograph on the condition and restructuring of the Ottoman army in the Armistice period (1918-1920).

Published by the Turkish Historical Society in 2001, this monograph examines the state, demobilization and reorganization of the Ottoman army after the Armistice of Mudros. For this collection it supplies the broader military framework within which the Caucasus Army of Islam withdrew from the Caucasus and was dissolved following the capture of Baku. Though not focused on the 1918 Azerbaijan campaign itself, it is a contextual reference for its aftermath.
