Published in Baku in 2013, this documentary collection compiles archival records, witness testimony and investigative materials on the violence suffered by the Azerbaijani population of Shamakhi between March and July 1918, which the source characterises as "pogroms against Azerbaijanis." Volume one is limited to the town of Shamakhi itself. For this collection it is relevant as background to the social and political context of the Caucasus Islamic Army's summer 1918 advance along the Ganja-Goychay-Shamakhi axis.
