Published in Baku by IPO Turkhan in 2013, this book frames the 1918 killings of Azerbaijanis as genocide and investigates those who organized and carried them out. Its framing reflects the dominant Azerbaijani historiographical treatment of the March 1918 events and the massacres in Baku, Shamakhi and Guba. For the collection it serves as context for the violence preceding the Caucasus Islamic Army's summer 1918 campaign and for how that campaign was justified in Azerbaijan.
