Published in the journal Yuridicheskaya nauka in 2014, Malika Arsanukayeva's article examines the founding, recruitment practices, maintenance and combat record of the Caucasian Native Cavalry Division within the Russian army during the First World War. It also addresses the joint service and mutual relations of soldiers from diverse nationalities, social strata and confessions.
